UIA: Islamic Education in Modern Era
As-Syafi’iyah Islamic University or UIA is a private university in Bekasi that was founded in 1965. This UIA was founded by KH Abdullah Syafii. This university has a variety of study programmes. Among them are Islam, economics, engineering, health, social sciences, and law. UIA is a campus that prioritizes education with Islamic values, and aims to produce competent and moral alumni. [LN] In my opinion, UIA is a campus that puts social science and religious science together. Without losing the characteristic characteristic of an Islamic campus. In addition to studying world science, in this campus we as students also study the science of religion as the supply of the world.
